This is a digital illustration I created for issue 42 of WORD Magazine. The author wrote an article discussing Instagram as a political hub, acknowledging the faults in using such a mediated, egocentric platform as a space for political discourse. We decided on an image of protesters marching into the frame of an Instagram post, to highlight the way the pandemic quite literally moved political activism online.
