Black Mathematicians
With the growing discussions around racial equality and Black visibility, Learny wanted to expose their child audience to the many Black scholars in the math field. Growing up, most of us only ever learned about Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, or Benjamin Franklin despite the countless Black contributions to the world of math. Each week I designed a new Instagram post for a series called "Mathematicians to Know" to educate students on this history.
